India being one the oldest civilization and having a great history
attracts travelers from all over the world who want to take a glimpse of
this great country. Though we Indians too want to travel each and every
nook and corner of our beloved country. I visited one of the most
beautiful places in the world last summers. Surprising, but proud to say
and write something about the
Himalayas
I went there with three of my friends who are equally active and love
trekking. Reaching there is not very tough as the Himalayan ranges are
easily accessible and the adventure options are impeccable. One can go
to
Nainital or
Leh or any other place in the ranges. Though reaching to the Mount
Everest is dream. We reached Leh by road from
Manali and we
cannot feel even tiredness due to the pleasant weather and beautiful
landscapes.
A traveler must visit Leh not only for
adventure
or scenic beauty but also for the monasteries and
Buddhist Pilgrimage that
depict the flourishing of the Buddhist culture. There are not one but
many beautiful and interesting things to see. The highest ranges in the
world with more than 100 different cultures, traditions and food habits.
It will be great to know the people who are cut off from the rest of the
world but still they manage their lifestyle. It is a place which has so
many cultures throughout and which fascinates every traveler and entices
them to come and feel the magic of the land called Leh.
