Skiing is an exciting sport that requires good practice and
excellent skills to be a perfectionist. Some of the valuable tips
for skiing that will help both a novice and an expert one to enjoy
the thrill of this sport such as
Balance: Each and every skier should learn balancing act
before participating in this sport because the snow is very
slippery. A stance is required that is comfortable but stable on the
move.
Dress Code: Before indulging in skiing, participants has to
wear warm clothes but not big jumpers. Always use layers of clothes.
Have a thermal layer next to your skin. Make sure the outside layer
must be waterproof, especially the bottom half. Always wear one pair
of socks. It will keep your feet warmer.
Don't forget to wear sunglasses for the sun and goggles for the
shade and cloud.
Protection From Tanning: Use plenty of suncream lotion as
snow reflects the sun rays which is responsible for tanning. Some
suncream lotion also protect the skin from wind and cold burning
too.
Skis: Always use those skis which are 20 to 30 cm shorter
than your height. Shorter ones are easier to turn.
Boots: Never rent boots from the shoes because they won't
provide you comfort. Instead buy a new pair in accordance with your
size. Have them tight and comfortable your calf muscles, but not
tight across the top of the feet because it will than restrict the
blood flow into the toes. One more thing, don't tuck your trousers
or salapettes into the boots.
Donning Your Skis: Before placing your planks on, get used
to feel of your boots. Get dome training. Take a quick walk around
in them and crouch down and stand up tall a couple of times to feel
them flex.
Moving Your Skis: Try to pick one feet at a time, with skis
on. Turn them to right and then the left. First of all, point your
skis where you want to proceed by turning the feet. Keep your feet
shoulder width apart , width toes pointing inward and heels apart.
